From Telemedicine Pioneer to Comprehensive Virtual Health Solutions
CareClix was founded by practicing, board-certified physicians with more than 40 years of combined experience in medicine and telemedicine research, who recognized early that technology could transform the way healthcare is delivered. At a time when virtual healthcare was still an emerging concept, CareClix began developing telemedicine technology and services designed around the real-world needs of physicians, healthcare organizations, and the patients they serve. Their commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare—anytime and anywhere—led to the creation of CareClix. Its co-founder authored guidelines for the practice of telemedicine for the American Telemedicine Association.

CareClix helped launch Maryland's first school-based telemedicine wellness initiative, providing advanced telemedicine technology to five Howard County elementary schools, connecting students directly with physicians at the University of Maryland Children's Hospital.
